The Inpatient Department (IPD) at ESIC General Hospital, Naroda provides round-the-clock admission, care, and treatment for insured persons (IPs) and their dependents requiring hospitalisation under the ESIC Scheme.

 What are IPD Services?

IPD services involve admitting a patient for medical or surgical treatment that cannot be provided in an outpatient setting. Patients are given beds, nursing care, treatment, surgery (if needed), and post-operative or recovery care.

 Admission Procedure

  1. Referral by ESIC Doctor or OPD Consultant

  2. Completion of admission form at IPD Registration Desk

  3. Allocation of Ward/Room and Bed Number

  4. Patient admitted under a specific Department and Consultant

In emergency cases, direct admission through Emergency/Casualty is allowed.

 Required Documents

  • ESIC Pehchan Card / Aadhaar Card

  • OPD Slip or Referral Slip

  • Previous medical records (if any)

 Discharge & Follow-up

  • Patient discharged based on medical advice

  • Discharge Summary provided with instructions

  • Medicines prescribed and follow-up appointments scheduled

  • 1. Login into CPGRAM
  • 2. In section "Grievance Detail" select "Others/Not Listed/Not Known"
  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
